The Western Theatre, located here to take advantage of the afternoon breezes from the west. Built entirely in earth following the Hellenistic tradition. The stage building stood to a height of 6-7 meters. In use until the 7th century AD and then used as a quarry. It could seat up to 8.000 people.
In an article I read excavations have been extensive, the theatre is to be opened not long after 2020.
