Leading citizen wearing a priestly crown. Mid or late 2nd century AD
I was informed this is a portrait statue of L. Antonius Dometinus Diogenes, priest of the Aphrodite and Emperor cult (about 200-220 AD), Found close to the Odeion. His "hat"' shows small busts of gods and goddesses.
