The snow capped Mountains of the Kara Dağ (= Black Mountain, but not in winter obviously), north of Karaman.
Its highest peak is 2288 m. On its slopes lies the ‘Binbirkilise’ area (= 1001 Churches), with numerous Roman and early Byzantine ruins (mausolea, churches).
