Next to the Mader Mevlana Camisi, also called Ak Tekke there’s the Hamam of Süleyman Bey (1358).
This is the largest hamam in the city. A very solid construction, with walls 280 cm thick. The ‘soğukluk’ (cold room, with locker rooms and a fountain in its center) is covered by a large dome, and measures 12½ x 13 m.
