A big graveyard between the Mevlana Kültür Merkesi and the Mevlana Museum. On a notice the city council states “How you live will decide how you die. How you die will decide how you are resurrected”. The division between the state and religion is not always clear in Turkey, to say the least. On the other hand I should not complain, Dutch coins (we have a similar division) used to state “God be with us”. As an atheist I disliked Dutch money.
