This complex (külliye is the name for such a complex) consists of a mosque, a medrese, a soup kitchen and a library. It was erected by Prince Ahmed, a son of Sultan Beyazit II. Over the years I have often been here, my first pictures date from a time when the carpets in the mosque all were different. Now, as is the case almost all over the country, the have been exchanged for industrial wall-to-wall carpeting. I decided to give the mosque a gallery of its own since I have so many pictures of it.
