Restaurant on Pontocho Alley in Kyoto where we ate dinner. Vents from the ceiling are used to prepare food at each table.
Pontocho Alley is next to the Kamo River. The Alley is lined with traditional shops, restaurants, bars and Geisha tea houses. The Alley comes alive at night. Nightlife has been here since the early 700's c.e.
