Sports photography is part of what drew me to journalism school years ago. It's a passion that dates back to a childhood subscription to Sports Illustrated ... As my kids came through, my camera was my chew toy at sporting events -- I'd pace and take pictures. It expanded to taking pictures of their teammates and posting them to share with their relatives who couldn't get to the games. My images have found their way into newspapers, magazines, advertising, yearbooks, media guides, websites, displays -- it's been great fun. Now, I drop in on whatever action fits the schedule and shoot for the pure joy of shooting.
