Horine Road Jefferson

They were running late to the last graduation practice and had been told, "If you're late, you don't walk ..." They were speeding, likely far faster than was later admitted, and failed to negotiate one of the serpentine turns. Down a hill, up into an embankment and then they shot across the road and into a tree. The car split in half. There was no guardrail there at the time to prevent it. The driver survived. The girl did not.
