A Christmas thought; I had imagined that 'boreal' referred to those cold forests through which that man passes with his sleigh. That is surely not where the Northern Paperbark grows.
I investigated and found that 'boreal' simply means 'northern'. In Australia northern means tropical.
Northern Paperbark is a shrub of harsh sites on drier hills inland from north Queensland's rainforest zone.
