This climber is a plant of local bushland where it is found scrambling amongst rocks.
It is also known as Waxvine and Common Waxflower. It is a member of the milkweed family.
The flowers are sweetly scented, and the caterpillars of several “crow” butterflies ( http://www.pbase.com/donfranklin/image/149620338) feed on the leaves.
I grew this from a cutting provided by a friend.
