I knew Maria Portuondo for many years at Miami International Airport. She was a supervisor on the ticket counter at Air Florida in the 1980's and served in a variety of positions with other companies and airlines at the airport after that. She was good friends with Ida Prellezo, a good friend of mine, who worked in numerous manager positions for companies at the airport. Maria was Area Manager for Air Berlin at the time of her death. My condolences to her family and friends regarding her death. Godspeed Maria!
