I worked and lived in this grand old building at the Coast Guard Yard south of Baltimore. Our living quarters were on the second floor and our offices and radio station were on the first floor. We had a firing range in the basement. Our meals were served at the Yard's main administrative building a couple of hundred feet away to the north, which was a real fun walk in the snow and ice during winter when going for an early breakfast. The admin building also had an enlisted club on their basement level with 25 cent beers and I think I had too many before this shot was taken judging from the hat placement.
