The view is looking due south from over the north end of the new shopping center and depicts thousands of cars in parking lots around the center, presumably because of the grand opening of Sears Northside (Store #1165) on April 20, 1960. The 27th Avenue Drive-In Theatre parking lot is visible in the lower right corner.
