This appears to be one of the smaller Black Angus restaurants that were all over South Florida at one time. Shrimp Dinner $1.49, Chicken Dinner $1.49, Sirloin Dinner $1.49.

I do remember the Victoria Station in Dadeland. The design was of a train. They had the best beef ribs ever!

I sure do remember Victoria Station! That was the place of my first date and quite a big deal back then. How about the 49th Aero Squadron, probably one of the first theme restaurants back then, where you could watch the planes land while dining on one of the biggest prime rib dinners I had ever seen!

I REMEMBER A BLACK ANGUS ON BIRD AND GALLOWWAY WHICH ITS NOW A CARRATA. EVEN THOUGH I NEVER EAT THERE I REMEMBER THE COWBOY CARTOON ON THE OUTSIDDE OF THE BIULDING. SPEAKING OF RESTERAUNTS DOES ANYONE REMEMBER THE VICTORIA STATION BY THE AIRPORT AND IN THE BACK OF DADELAND MALL.

During 1967 Black Angus sponsored re-runs of the classic radio program "The Shadow" over WINZ (940 AM). A home-made "mini-poster" I sent to program director George Cooper inspired him to have a "Shadow Poster Contest", with the winners getting three free meals from Black Angus and their poster displayed at the restaurant nearest them.

By an amazing coincidence (?) the hand-drawn poster I next submitted won... and it was on display at this location for a week. My parents and I enjoyed our complimentary dinners, and I still have my congratulatory note from the late Jack Silver [whom I met many years later]...
