I was stationed with EN1 Donald D. Tucker, AKA "DDT", on Coast Guard recruiting duty in Tampa from the end of 1967 to first part of 1970 when he retired from the Coast Guard. He was originally from Wildwood, Florida, and a true Florida cracker. He had friends all over Central Florida and I met quite a few of them when he and I did a couple of monthly road trips together throughout our recruiting area (Ocala to the north end of Lake Okeechobee and the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic) so he could show me how to do them.
