I was visiting from Baltimore (Coast Guard Yard in Curtis Bay) where I was stationed because I was transferring to Florida in June and wouldn't be able to travel to New York so easily.

Thanks Roland, yes I was at Group/COTP/Radio Station Baltimore, a 5th District tenant unit at the CG Yard at Curtis Bay in 1966/67. We worked on the first floor and our barracks were on the second floor. The building is still there with offices on the first floor but I don't think the enlisteds have to live upstairs anymore. Don

I too was in the Coast Guard between 2004 and 2008. You say Baltimore, just wondering if you mean Curtis Bay? I spent some time there. It's good to see a Coastie on Pbase.
