Colonel Borman invited me back to watch commercial filming inside the L1011 hangar after the trip to the runway (see B727 shot). He was the public face for Eastern advertising commercials and the jist of this setting was that while the traveling public was sleeping, Eastern employees were working hard throughout the night to make sure the next day's flights were ready. I couldn't believe that the colonel walked halfway across the hangar to greet me when I returned an hour or so later after the B727 shots were taken.
