Bob Zimmerman, Jack Sullivan and I took a week long road trip up to the Smoky Mountains and Mammoth Cave from May 12th through 18th, 1966, before I went off for four years active duty in the Coast Guard. It was the first time I ever driven north of Broward County and we had a great time. We met the girls while on the cave tour and enjoyed talking to them for a couple of hours.

According to my trip log we spent that evening in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on the way home.
