Thank you to Ken Wilde for posting this is the MiamiSprings Memories Facebook group. The Eastern Air Lines water tower and maintenance base now occupies the southwest corner of the intersection and passenger terminals were spread along NW 36th Street west of Eastern's maintenance base in the upper right of the photo. The Howard Johnson's Restaurant occupies the northwest corner of the intersection across from Eastern and gas stations occupy the southeast and northeast corners of the intersection. It would be ten more years before the airlines moved from the 36th Street Terminals to the new 20th Street Terminal built further south on LeJeune Road. The new 20th Street Terminal was built in the upper left portion of this photo. Please click on "original" below to see this image at the largest size.
