WCKT-TV became a television station with the NBC network only a year before this photo was taken. My wife Karen Criswell is in the foreground and her younger brother Jim is seated to the right of her in the photo. Miss Iris autographed the photo to say: "To Jimmie the gentleman and Karen, my very special weather lady ___ Miss Iris - WCKT"

I remember watching the Romper Room (Playhouse?) when I was a kid in MIami. I still have the "Be A Romper Room Do Bee" 45 (78?) somewhere, which I believe is on yellow vinyl. "I'm a romper room do be, a do be all day long..."
