Russ and I served in the Coast Guard Reserve Unit at USCG Air Station Miami for many years while he was an Eastern Airlines mechanic. After the strike Russ was fortunate enough to end up at FedEx and he is now overseeing the B757 passenger aircraft conversion to package freighter program. Previous to this assignment he oversaw the DC-10 to MD-10 conversion program at three Aeronavali locations in Italy.
