Does anybody remember the Argentinian-Mexican film mogul Eddie Cohen who was an owner of Marcella's ?
I grew up near the one on 183rd Street and to this day after 49 states and as many countries the garlic rolls have never been duplicated.
This is the Marcella's that my family frequented. Pizza was my main source of food, well, I would have wanted it to be if my mother only would have agreed. But this was one of the family standbys that we could always count on. There are few things I would pine for in the 1980s-today, but get me back in time to when things just seemed right and a Marcella's pizza just came out of the oven.

As a little boy I sat on Marcella's lap in her first restaurant. Ordered the Garlic rolls and Pizza delivered on Dates growing up in North Miami and North Miami Beach. She was the best and what she served was the best
Many of the kids from Miami Shores Baptist Church went here on Sunday nights after evening worship. FANTASTIC garlic rolls!
