1948 - closeup of an ad for Stone's liquor stores and bars

Miami, Florida

According to an article in the same paper, William D. Singer of Royal Castle fame was involved in Stone's bars with Samuel Stone of Columbus, Ohio as the major stockholder. On March 1, 1947, Singer passed majority control on to William and Harold Stone, sons of Samuel Stone, who now serve as president and vice president. The new rebuilt bar on the left is at 1048-1052 Biscayne Boulevard on the north end of the new Royal Castle building that served as executive offices for Royal Castle and as their bakery.
