1960's - Regal Beer label - brewed in Miami

Miami, Florida

I never liked Regal, even with Prince Regal saluting me, except it was better than no beer at all. Brewed by American Brewing Company in Miami and they had another brewery in New Orleans.

I drove for Regal Beer in the 60's.Had the south end of Dade and the upper Key's

I remember seeing the Regal sign from the Orange Bowl. My dad would always say it was lager spelled backwards.

The Regal Brewery was sold to Anhauser Busch in the early 60s. They continued to brew Regal for a few years but eventually discontiuned the brand when Busch Beer was introduced. Hey like you said Dan it was the only beer we could get so it was good. The brewery was located at about NW 20th St and 5th Ave.
