This is where my sister had her rehearsal dinner in 1957, where I loved the fried shrimp, and where I had my first cup of coffee when I came home for Christmas vacation from Baylor University in Texas in 1962! Wonderful memories of a great restaurant with kind owners.
Thank you Ian, I've changed the address to reflect that. : ) And thank you for your financial contribution too!
This is definitely the location on NW 7th Avenue and 79th Street. I knew Mr. Holleman, and his son Bud well. I made many deliveries to this one, and to the Latta's Restaurant across the street, back in the '60's. South of here, and further down 7th Ave was Phil Peterson's Harley, and then Jumbo's Restaurant. At Latta's, about the short order griddle, was a giant tilted mirror for the customer to read, "Cooked in sight, must be right!" Miami Springs came much later.

It was wonderful to find this picture of Hollemans......From the early 1950's until I left for college my family ate there every Friday night.....In the 1950's Mrs. Holleman was the hostess.....I always had the breaded veal cutlet and thought it divine!!!!!!!!It was located on the corner of NW 7th Ave and 79th Street......
Hi Fred: it could be but it also looks like the existing one right over the bridge as you go into Miami Springs on NW 54th Street from Hialeah.

Wasn't this place on N.W. 7th Ave and 119th St. ?
There was also a Holleman's on 79th. St. and I think about NW 7th. Ave., although this one pictured looks like the one in Miami Springs.
This looks like the MIA Holleman's just north of 36 st on 57th ave now an Irish Pub.
