Thank you to Terry Bocskey for finding all these gents and contacting everyone repeatedly to arrange a reunion when our old buddy Harry Duncan Wilson finally came back to town after an absence of 30 years including a 20-year career in the U. S. Marine Corps where he retired as a Master Sergeant.

And thank you to Bob Zimmerman, and his wife Beth Block Zimmerman, for hosting us the first day at their home providing great food and beverages, and for arranging for another buddy Ron Urban to take us out on his boat for a 9 hour cruise of Biscayne Bay on the second day with plenty of food and beverages to sustain us. And thank you to Ron Urban (North Miami High Class of 1970) for taking us out and putting up with us.

The participants included: Harry Duncan Wilson, Bob Zimmerman, Terry Bocskey, Alan DeTomaso, Ray Kyse, Lanny Paulk, and Don Boyd on Friday and Saturday, May 8th and 9th, 2009, and Richard "Rick" Sullivan on Friday evening.

We all grew up in the western section of the Palm Springs area of Hialeah. Richard, Bob, Duncan, Terry and Alan all lived on W. 11th Avenue between 53rd Terrace and 55th Place. Though several years apart from the oldest to the youngest we all attended the same schools and we hung out back in the 1960's and 70's and some of us into the 80's.

Alan and his wife Kathy came from Omaha, Nebraska, Lanny came from Senoia, Georgia, Duncan from Lothian, Maryland, Terry from Daytona Beach and Rick and his wife Linda came from Loxahatchee. Bob, Ray and Don still live in the area. Postscript: Ray Kyse passed away on March 4, 2016, after fighting cancer for over three years that started in his prostate gland. A memoriam page for Ray will be on my Memoriams page in the near future.
