Brenda Reiter has been a great friend of mine and my family since early 1967 (50 years!) when we met in her hometown of Essex, Maryland. I was stationed in the Coast Guard on the other side of Baltimore at the Coast Guard Yard in Curtis Bay. We stayed in contact by mail and phone after my transfer to Florida and we have visited each other numerous times over the years. Since the early 70's she has lived in Denver, the north shore of Lake Tahoe and in the Dillon, Colorado area. She is now living in Christiansted, St. Croix, USVI, where she enjoys the sun, sea and sand for a change from the colder ski areas where she lived most of her life.

Her son Justin Reiter is a great young man and snowboarder who has been highly ranked among the world's snowboarders for decades and continues to compete in world-wide events. He was the sole Alpine Snowboarder selected from the USA for the 2014 Winter Olympics held in Sochi, Russia in February 2014.
