I was very surprised one day when I was out in the yard taking pictures to find these black and white striped bees that I never knew existed let alone in my yard. They were very cooperative when it came to posing for pictures.

They must exist in different colors, our ground nesting bees here are more golden and black and yes, more docile and less aggressive than most bees...good capture here
