While I freely admit that I take some artistic license while processing with regard to enhancing the saturation and contrast, the actual colors are real. Depending on the angle the individual plates of anodized metal are viewed from and the direction the sun is hitting them, the color shifts all the way from magenta to orange to basically no color at all as you can see in this image. It mystifies me.
