Blue Dawn

Monument Valley, AZ

Looking out over Monument Valley from Hunts Mesa before the sun is really up. Definitely the wrong light, yet I liked how it looked anyway - especially with the saturation pushed a bit.

0.60s f/8.0 at 165.0mm iso500 (3 Exposure HDR) full exif

Wrong light?? NO, RIGHT light! The dawn provides a unique feel with a luscious color palette, a feast for the eyes!! This shot DEFINITELY getting (or staying) up early for!!

I don't think the light is wrong. Muted colors give it a dreamy water color look. Different, but not wrong. :) BV

Fantastic view with these colors and slight mist accentuating the distance. Amazing to see it like this. "V"

spectacular in any light...the distant buttes and spires look almost spectral in the damp morning air...V
