Carhenge 2007

I am in the process of refreshing this gallery with larger versions of the pictures, some reprocessing and some all new images. I will also be removing some of the older ones which were not really processed and were just RAW images. This gallery has both regular images as well as ones with a high degree of post processing. Carhenge is in Alliance, Nebraska and is a really cool and unusual place to visit if you get a chance. The newest images are at the beginning.

A lot of people don't realize that the ancient Druids actually worshiped Buicks. Since Nebraska didn't have ancient Buicks or Druids, they had to improvise. In other words, fantastic gallery, I loved the artistry and the touch of whimsy. Dave

Carhenge is fantastic! What a crazy idea. Someone has some equipment to build these sculptures. You've done a great job of capturing this most unusual place.
