Dear Mom,

Thank you so much for the suede shirt and the check that were in the gift I opened from you this Christmas morning. They were ever so thoughtful. Even more impressive though, was when I pulled the shirt out of the package and saw the lovely (and well-used) orange handled scissors in the bottom of the box. How did you know that my other scissors were dull and needed to be replaced? The mental bond between mother and daughter will never cease to amaze me.
