And so the first from a new series of shots I'm planning over the next while. This series, stone
angels, follows a shot I took in 2006 in a small kirkyard in the Scottish countryside. The shot was
one I always loved, and recently I started thinking about how I could turn it into a small project.
Whilst it's going to take me a while to complete, due to our recent arrivals, this photo, shot today
marks the start. I've added a link to the gallery I've set up below.
I plan to go back to reshoot this again, this was taken with a close-up filter and at f2.8 - the DoF
is, as a result, badly controlled. It's a tiny angel on a gravestone which may explain why the
lichen is so prominent.
