After a few days of cloud, fog and snow the skies finally cleared. I managed to catch the last few
minutes of light before the sun dropped behind the foothills. It's been mostly freezing but the
sunlight was enough to cause some snow to melt slowly and refreeze as icicles. In this case the
back lighting resulted in a pleasant catch of the blue sky in the ice. Simple pleasures..........
