Life From Death

We had a few inches of snow last night and I was a little later getting to work this morning via
one of my alternative routes. I drove passed two coyotes on what looked like remnants of an elk
which I suspect was recent road kill. I reversed and got out of the car and approached slowly but
they were more interested in their find. The curious thing was watching the horse in the field
wander over, see them, then chase them off. I got to enjoy watching a little cat and mouse game
between the horse and the coyotes before the coyotes thought better of the situation.
A thoroughly enjoyed start to the day!!!

Life on the shoulder of the fast-lane ;-) Really pretty nature capture. Snow makes such a great Hi-Key background for fur. Nice pull-over and capture by you. g
