Don't Look Back In Anger!

We hear coyotes most weeks invariably 'howling' in 'packs' during the night not far from home.
They're normally extremely skittish so I've only seen them at a distance. This morning this one
was just off the track at Daniels Park and I had to reverse to grab a shot from the car window
and he was gone in a few seconds. Not a great shot, but I liked the look back. Given that it's
about the only time I've been close enough for a shot it'll have to do!!

Title from a song by Oasis, which seems apt as I gather most states have a bounty on coyotes!!!

Nice "grab" shot!! Good comp and detail. I usually only get hind end shots they are so skittish! Good job!

Boy! What a difference in coyote appearance, comparing Colorado and Los Angeles county. I mean, I can tell it's a coyote, but . . . Actually, I think it's a great golden morning capture and a regal example of this wily creature. Excellent Snapography by you Dave! g
