Wide Open Space

I drove home through Sedalia and always pass this scene, which has power lines between it and the
road. On this occasion I decided to hop the fence to get past the power lines and scrub to get a shot!

I'm in a wide open space, I'm standing
I'm all alone and staring into space
It's always quiet thru' my ceiling
The roof comes in and crashes in a daze

I'm in a wide open space, it's freezing
You'll never get to heaven with a smile on your face from me

There's something quite bizarre I cannot see

I'm on the top of a hill, I'm lonely
There's someone here to shout to miles away
I could be back in my house, for I care
They do not hear me, it's the same old case

Great place you have to shoot, Dave. The color of the fall grass and rich blue sky gives this an old time Western feel, just need a horse to climb on and have a trot. Wonderfully photographed, and really pulls a person in. Nicely done, thanks for sharing.
