We had every intention of going up Pikes Peak but the weather has been considering it's options most
of the day so rather than ending up in another thunderstorm we decided to drift through Woodland Park.
Luckily the weather broke in places so it ended up being a pleasant dry drive!
As you can see a fire raged through here a while ago, probably started by a lightning strike, so when
you see Smokey The Bear signs, there's a reason!!
