Leaving The Storm Behind

The thing I love above the summer weather in Colorado is that the storms come and go and most of
the time you can drive to somewhere with different weather and clear skies. This was taken at
Woodland Park, and apparently there was a tornado yesterday about 20 miles from this spot!

Wow.. looks like a bad one. We've been fortunate and had a few nights of rain too, so hope things green up here soon. I'm envious of such a beautiful area, would love to be there too. Thanks for sharing.

Yikes! Having lived in CO, I respect this cloud! There's probably a lot of hail in it!!! Love the contrast of shades and colors.
