We left the hotel in Santa Fe at 10am this morning with a view to heading straight home, but
ended diverting via Pecos, then later, Fort Union. This little chap (a Prairie Rattlesnake?)
was waiting outside Fort Union for us, but was a little shy. Although I used a 90mm macro he
wouldn't let me get closer than a foot or so. This was a quick choice of shot after getting
home after 11pm!!! Not a great shot, but hey, I've never seen a rattlesnake before!
