For some reason my journeys to work recently have encountered more trains than usual, so I thought I may as well try to get a shot.
I was doing 55mph and I'm guessing the train was chugging along at a leisurely 45mph, but given that they can be a mile long, that doesn't seem like a bad clip.
This was the end of the train, and they can have up to six locomotives pulling them along.
