Fence Line

It was a pleasant sunny day, but it will fade this weekend with a little more snow on the way!!!

It seems this has become my most popular picture on Pbase.
I liked the composition but there was so much that I did wrong with the original capture that I almost discarded it.
I'm glad you like it.

I thought it was sand at first, adjusting the white balance might make it look more like the snow that it is...

What appeals to me is the expected symmetery and straight lines that have become lost in the shadows. Two sides to every question, good versus bad and order versus disorder. And I bet you just thought it was a good snapshot (which it is BTW). Voted
