See Day 1 in reverse, except this time we're headed for the winter storm warning in Colorado, rather than the winter storm warning in Wyoming on Day 1!! We took a slightly different but more direct route home which turned out to be spectacular. Mile upon mile of open countryside covered in sage, surrounded by snow covered peaks. Wanting to make the most of the weather we just drove only stopping for the essentials, so we only took a few snaps through the car window. Luckily the weather stayed clear, and apart from a few icy patches on higher ground we made it home, to find yet more snow. Winter's arrived on Colorado!!
