This may be the first time in my life I'm looking forward to having a
root canal performed. Last week, my dentist gave me a referral to have
a specialist do this procedure, because my tooth was giving me "a little
discomfort." Monday, the tooth went bonkers! I haven't experienced pain
like that in a long, long time, if ever.
The soonest the new dentist could see me is this afternoon. At his
recommendation, I've been popping ibuprofen almost like candy, and it's
actually working. But that's a temporary fix, the real issue must be
addressed. And while I probably won't enjoy the procedure, I will enjoy the result.
