Today was going to be a special occasion, because the Chargers were playing
for the AFC Championship and a trip to the Superbowl. I decided I would want
either a celebratory or consolation dinner, and this is how it turned out.
I made baby back pork ribs with sauerkraut, cabbage, onions and apples in
the slow cooker. Can you imagine the torture I endured watching the game and
dealing with the aromas wafting in from the kitchen all afternoon? I was going
to wait until after the second game (Packers and Giants) to eat, but I couldn't
wait. I enjoyed a wonderful meal during their halftime.
Best part? Leftovers, baby!
And PS to the Chargers - thanks for a great season!
