Can Art Be Measured?

Art and Measurement exist in two different worlds.

If one piece of art is greater than another, can you measure the difference?

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Only one world.
Measurement is a matter of fact.
Art is a matter of opinion.

This measures up to my idea of vibrant colors and pleasing composition.

Lucky for you, I happen to be an artometerist and have a 'state of the art' artometer at home. I have measured this picture, I can say it measures exactly 375.25 AU (metric art units) or 42 in imperial units (which coincidentally is also the answer to life, the universe and everything according to Douglas Adams)....

You can, but you measure by volume, not length. So the tape measures won't help you.
Great colors.

What about measuring it with the votes (HUGE VOTE kind of unit, see?) ;-)
In terms of measuring the processing skills, you are sky scrapping, Gary!

This is top notch, at the large end of the ruler. V
