Woohoo!

I learned today I may need to have knee surgery. This did not make me a
happy camper -- I am more than a little upset about it! So, on the way
home, I stopped and "made lemonaide" by buying myself a pair of Converse
All Stars (accept no substitutions!).

The shoes, and denial, and now I'm a new man. Everytime I look down, I smile.

Those laces would be a lot happier if they were intermingled...

I am sure that your knee already feels better, just because of the new shoes!

Now go run 10 miles and break those tennies in!

I still remember the joy of getting my first pair of Chuck Taylor's when I was a kid...couldn't talk to me for a week :-)) There were none of these fancy colors back then though. I'm sorry to hear that you need surgery...hope it's the kind where you don't get all cut up. You have my best wishes, my friend.

Great tennis shoes ... ... much surprised to hear about knee surgery. My bro just had both his replaced and is well on the mend.

LOL on both of the prvious comments! Hey, no better way to feed denial than to splurge a bit... sometimes you're entitled! Sending prayers your way, Bud!!

Who needs knees when you have shoes like that ;-) Hope the surgery, eventhough you're in denial, will go well

LOL, you'll smile even bigger with percocets ;-) Congratulations on the new tennies.
