A Chair in an Alley

Thrown out, and cast aside, but somehow the person couldn't
bring himself (herself?) to put it in the dumpster. So here
it sits, in the alley, all by itself. Not quite alive,
and not quite trash.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Very nice composition. The muted colors are perfect.

How neat, I love all the different textures of wood here, and me, I would have taken this chair and given it new life, lots of potential there.

Ever the philosopher. You can even make an abandoned chair interesting!

This is a well exposed and detailed shot. Interesting comments by you ;-)

Great image, Gary. I agree with all, but especially Dawn; the variety of textures in here are wonderful.

Strange how the simplest things will catch our eyes.. I agree with everyone else about lighting, lines.. etc.. but what I also like about this photo is the different textures that are in this.

Great shot! Nice composition and perspective. Well done! And so true in what you said.

Nope, it's not my chair. It was just a chair I spotted in an alley.
Guest 06-Dec-2004 07:48
Is that your chair?

Very effective light here Gary - the chair fairly glows!
