A cat on Georgia Street yearns to be outside

G is for Georgia Street. Carly would like to be
out there, exploring the neighborhood. The last
time she escaped, she got into a literal cat fight
with a big old tom who torn a patch of fur from
her the size of a quarter.

Carly is supposed to be an indoor kitty. She forgets from time to time.

This is so cute. Toffee feels the same, especially when he sees the birds
at the feeder outside,

San Diego kitties want to be outside and enjoy the weather like us, but other cats, coyotes and cars can not allow this.

This is great. Your cat is really lovely.

Her eyes are fantastic. To me, she has two possible expressions: "Oh oh you caught me" or "Please let me outside". Well done.

Cute shot... look at those eyes!

My boyz are perfectly content to stay in. They go out on my balcony every now and then. This pretty girl clearly has other ideas! Great shot!

She thinks if she gazes at you in her gorgeous way, you will give in.

What a sweet face, it must be hard to say no to her!

My cats always wanted to be on the other side of the door from where they currently were...

Very nice composition and treatment here

She is lovely. I cannot keep my cat inside. He would be miserable. But whenever he stays away for more than a day, I am scared something has happened to him.
Yvonne08-Dec-2008 09:33
Those eyes are imploring you to open the door!
cits_4_pets08-Dec-2008 07:56
She's giving you a glare...

The Catnip always looks greener on the other side of the fence, eh Carly?
;o)

Poor Carly... how about a cat carrier strapped to the bike !!
Russ Rose08-Dec-2008 04:26
My cats watch the outside world from the window. they will go to the sliding door when I let the dogs out but they have learned (I hope) that the outside is not a place for them.
Nice image. like the idea that you presented.
Scott Browne08-Dec-2008 04:26
I love this. You can see her longing.
Cindi Smith08-Dec-2008 04:00
Yeah, I hate it when they escape. Zeke manages to get out about every other week but I find him pretty fast. Usually before he's gotten into any fights. Poor baby, but it is much safer for you inside, Carly!

Looks like a nice pet.
Coleen Perilloux Landry08-Dec-2008 03:51
You must take Carly out for a walk, carrying her in your arms. Little Minou thinks that is the only way that cats go outsie.

Maybe she likes rough sex?
